Bad Luck for Hunters Scendix in Jump Off GP** Roosendaal

In Roosendaal, thing weren't going too smooth for Brecht Bille and Hunters Scendix (Stakkato).  They succeeded a clear first round, qualifying with sixteen in total for the jump off.  Fourth combination to start, all seemed to go well, as Scendix jumped swiftly the fences, but in the sharp turn, after the second fence, things went wrong : Scendix slipped over a soft spot in the soil of the arena and all of a sudden, rider and horse found themselves at the ground ! Yet they were the fourth to go down on this particular spot.
One can hardly understand, how it is possible, tha competitions of such a high level are taking place on such a bad soil...
However, all seemed worse than it was, so that Scendix is in excellent shape to start the Malines Christmas Jumping.
But Brecht had taken some other horse friends to the CSI**YH* Roosendaal, such as Enjoy Louis (Corriano) only eight years old and performing already strongly as he succeeded two clear rounds in a 1m40 competition, ending fourteenth and only had one fault in the "Big Tour" (1m45) on the third day.
Donata van Ter Hulst (Chin Chin) also was in great shape : in the "Medium Tour", she once ended third and once second.
In the CSIYH* Brecht Bille had saddled Argentus (Argentinus), a very promising horse proving his talents already at a very younge age, ending fourth at the Belgian Championships for Young Horses in Gesves.
This weekend, he also showed his excellent shape : on the first day, he succeeded two clear rounds and the following day, he qualified for the seventh place in a competition on time (Barema C).
So, we can conclude, all horses are in good form to face the Christmas Jumping in Malines.
There, Brecht will participate in the CSI** with Hunters Scendix and Enjoy Louis.  With the same horses, he will start in the "Sires of the World" and the "Belgian Breds".
Hunters Scendro (Scendix) and Argentus (Argentinus) will participate in the stallion competition.
