Stallions competition at Mechelen : a real succes story!

At the four years old, every eye turned to the descendant of Hunters Scendix, who was permanently present in the equestrian media, these last weeks. Indeed, Hunters Scendro is an approved son of Hunters Scendix (Stakkato), out of a state’s premium mare of Contendro I x Singular Joter. This dark brown stallion was not at all impressed by the huge obstacles in the B-arena at the Malines’Christmas Jumping. He jumped a clear round easily, qualifying himself for the jump-off. With Brecht in the sattle, he succeeded a quick, clear jump-off : a flashing front leg technique, a lot of power and strong gallop, only a few of the excellent qualities, he inheritated from this father, Hunters Scendix. Scendro ended on a beautiful third place.

At the five years old, it was the turn of Hunters Argentus (Argentinus) to enter the arena. At the belgian championships in Gesves, this sommer, he earned a fourth place. At first, it seemed, Argentus was a little impressed by the huge fences, but coolheaded as he is, Argentus succeeded a clear round. Unfortunately, a communication error between rider and horse occurred at the jump-off, so the final score read four points.

In the A-arena, a competition for six year old stallions was organized. This time, Brecht started with Hunters Canatano Z (Canadian River x Caretano Z). It seemed to be a delicate mission, as the fences were 1m30 till 1m35 high. Immediately, Brecht found the right rhythm performing a clear round, so qualification for the jump-off guaranteed! This jump-off round also showed to be a clear one, ending at a brilliant third place. On top of that, a cup was handed to Brecht as he was the first one qualifiying himself with a Zangersheide Stallion in this competition.

Following meeting with the stallions is the second phase of the BWP examination, taking place the weekend of 20th till 21st. of January 2012.

Afterwards, the stallions can be seen in the stallions competition.

See you!
